Small Talk Six: Looky What I Made

This week's Small Talk Six from MomDot is getting a little crafty. They want to know 6 things you’ve made during your lifetime that you were proud of (can be a craft, a dish, . . . anything).

1. Birthday cakes at my son's party last year:
2. School bus cake:
3. Watermelon basket for wedding party:
4. Car party favors for my son's 3rd b-day (huge hit):
5. Display for my research paper required to graduated with my Bachelors:
6. And of course, so proud I created my crazy little one:

  2. Wow good job with the cakes. I'm skipping this week since I'm not very handy. If I had 6 kids the list would be easy.

  11. You have done a good job on all of the projects. The fun thing about the cakes is that you get to eat your mistakes and icing drips. No one knows when they see the final product that the big glob of icing we peeled off the side was popped into our mouths and we smoothed out the edges.

  19. That watermelon basket is really neat! I've always wanted to try making one, well, not for myself because I hate melons, but they are pretty to look at.
