My oldest has been back to school for almost a month and has come home every day excited to tell me about all the projects his class is currently doing. I'm glad that he has a teacher this year who is encouraging and challenging in the classroom.
Dollar General and Procter & Gamble are celebrating teachers this month as part of their "Every Day Heroes" campaign. To join in, you can honor schools in your community by entering the "Write to Win" sweepstakes.
Customers ages 21 and over may visit Dollar General to submit an essay about why their school deserves to win. Three essays will be selected and the winning schools mentioned in those essays will win $10,000 each. Sweepstakes ends 9/23/12.
