Hair Cut in Under 10

I haven't cut my hair in 3 years. Not even a trim.

It's not that I wanted to grow my hair out. Mostly that I'm too lazy to go get it done, can't find the time, or just can't decide how I want it.

But today I broke down. It had been far too long, and the split ends were driving me crazy. So I got about an inch or so taken off. Nothing major, but it left my hair looking a little healthier than before.

Since I made the decision last minute, I went to a walk-in place beside Target. Bad choice. I signed in, waited a few minutes, and was called back. It took exactly 5 and a half minutes from my name being called to when I paid and headed out the door. 5 1/2 minutes!

The girl barely asked me what I wanted done and didn't even offer to dry or style my hair. She wet it with a spray bottle, cut, and was heading to the register. Needless to say, I was more than annoyed.

Getting my hair cut, even a trim, should be a pleasant break for me. I don't need to feel like the girl cutting it is doing it on a timer.

Maybe I should just be happy that she didn't screw it up.

Enjoyed reading your blog tonight.....I love finding new blogs...Had a little time to blog hop tonight while waiting to go to the hospital and welcome a new grandson tomorrow. This month I am posting about our Disney trip, plus a great giveaway.

Hiliarious! Yeah I would say that was a bit on the short side (the amount of time to cut your hair, not your hair length just to clairfy:) ) I hate spending money on haircuts, I go like every 5 months and that is only bc I have very thick hair and it grows fast.

My sister in law is a hair stylist and she said that at those walk in places they have to cut hair quickly because they are trying to get in as many customers as they can in a single day. That is why it is so inexpensive. They make their money based on volume of customers. If you don't want to rush your haircut you should go to a salon. The only downside is they are more expensive. I bet your hair looks a lot better and feels great. I have long hair too and don't get it cut as often as I should.

Wow - 3 years! And I thought my schedule of going about every 8 months was bad. :-) That's too bad about the haircut though. I hate having a bad experience when I go. (Although usually the problem is that I'm not happy with it!) If you say something to them, maybe they'll offer you a discount next time. Or, of course, you'll have to just go somewhere else!

I get my hair cut really short. That way I only have to go back every 4 to 6 months, once it grows past my shoulders. I'm frugal that way! Sounds like you could have done the same job at home. Nothing like pampering yourself for less then 10 minutes.
