Campus Quilt Company Review & Giveaway

I'm one of those people who can't bear to part with old clothes. I always think that someone else could wear them, some day they'll fit again, whatever. But really, I just love the memories that come up when I dig through a box of old clothes. Remembering high school games, the first time I went out with hubby, the days when little man was still little.

I was recently introduced to the Campus Quilt Company. The Campus Quilt Company creates custom quilts from your old clothes. Not only can they make quilts from tee shirts, but also from sweatshirts, ties, socks, hats, and baby outfits.

I was impressed at how easy it was to create a quilt. Campus Quilt Company sends you everything you need, from swatches to choose a backing color to a UPS shipping bag and label to send back your tees.

The toughest part of the process? Picking out what shirts to include!

I had the opportunity to create a Stadium Quilt, composed of 16 squares. Quilts usually take 2 to 4 weeks to complete, though rush orders can be done in as little as 2 days. My tees were sent out on Tuesday September 19th and my quilt arrived Thursday October 1st. I was surprised to see it arriving so quickly, and loved that I received email updates from Campus Quilts throughout the process.

The final product is being enjoyed by everyone in the house. It quickly became little man's favorite blanket to snuggle with on the couch. And I don't blame him, the flannel backing is incredibly soft and the front holds a ton of memories.We are loving our custom quilt! It would be a perfect Christmas present this holiday season or a birthday surprise.
