I recently got the chance to hear the latest CD from Jonny Diaz. More Beautiful You was released in May of 2009. Diaz explains the album as one filled with "many different aspects of the Christian faith. One theme that is prevalent throughout the record is truth. We are called to speak and live truth even in a culture that doesn’t agree."
Though I typically don't listen to music that falls under the religious category, I thoroughly enjoyed More Beautiful You. The songs carry strong messages, Diaz's voice is both smooth and passionate, and the music's melodic style fits with the music I usually listen to. Even my 5 year old enjoyed listening to the CD with me.Win It:

I love Jonny Diaz's music. We saw him last year with Andrew Peterson and he was incredible! I didn't know that he will be joining MercyMe's Fall tour which I found out from his website which posts his tweets. THAT will be an amazing show. I also learned that his song More Beautiful You quickly became the most played and requested song on Christian radio. :) Please enter me. I know someone who would just love to get this CD. :)

We love Jonny Diaz! Our local Christian station (WIBI) plays Beautiful You pretty often but I am excited to hear his other stuff! I know he is trying to reach out to the younger generation in a positive way and I am grateful for that.
