Oh, what to confess this week...
To be perfectly honest, my son watches too much tv. What was my first hint? Was it when I realized he could sing the whole theme song to Phineas & Ferb, Backyardigans, and Go Diego Go? Not quite.
Was it when he recited the entire commercial for Cereal Straws in the middle of the grocery store, much to the horror of the mom standing nearby? You put it in and sip, sip, sip... Still not quite.
Was it when he asked grandpa for Benderoos, "that only cost $19.99. You can call now or go online to benderoos.com to order"? Yep, that was the moment. Too much tv, and a mom who felt the need to crawl under a rock. Ugh.

My kids definitely watch too much tv. Way too much tv. I should work on that.
That is too funny. There are times around here when my daughter watches a bit too much tv. We are working on it and doing a lot better.
Now that the weather is nice they watch less TV, but when the weather is yucky I can only play so many games that TV is soooo nice. (Did I just say yucky? Yup...too much time with the kids.)
My kids watch all those same shows too and they know the theme song for Phineas and Ferb. I'll admit that show is kind of funny. They always have to yell Candice's line in the theme song as loud as they can. That part drives me nuts!
Have a wonderful weekend!
how old is your guy? I worry my little one watches to much tv too. i was actually thinking about this today...
My daughter watches too much tv too. I worry about that as well but sometimes when you just need a break the tv can come in really handy.
Well, I can't quite relate on the tv bit, but my kids do watch their fair share of movies. I do make sure they get their schooling and fresh air out of the way first though.
I think every parent feels this way.
luckily my kids are older so they go outside and to friend's houses and all that too.
After reading Jacqueline's at Blessing Abounds, I shared my own horror story here: http://angiemarion.blogspot.com/2009/06/mommy-confessions-sharing-bit-of-my.html
Oh man, my girls watch way too much TV...I've been trying to cut back but that causes a tantrum with my oldest whos 2 3/4. She knows the schedule of thee shows and can tell me what is coming on next...bad mommy!
ROFL! Yep, my kids can recite some of those commercials too.
hmm...they may watch too much tv also.
ok, what is even sadder....i know the theme songs to almost every disney channel show on. lol.
