I've seen people getting grief because their Christmas tree is still up in February. Back in January, my dad started this big fuss because I still had pumpkins on my front porch. Yes, I get it: it's sad, and lazy. They should have been thrown away months ago. But they did look pretty under the snow.
In my defense, we rarely use the front door, meaning I rarely take notice to what's on the porch. Today, I went out to get the mail, and this is what caught my eye:I was speechless. I'm still speechless, and a bit disgusted. But, ya'll will be proud to know that they finally made their way to the dumpster. Say bye-bye to little Jack-o-lantern.Now I just need to hose pumpkin snot off my steps. Wonderful.

LOL - I just took the pumpkin off our porch this past weekend! So, your not alone!
(But only one of them was a real pumpkin - I bought a fake pumpkin for decoration this year!)
LOL! That could totally happen here. As I type I see Christmas candles on the mantel and I believe there is still a Christmas towel in the rarely-used guest bathroom.
I think your pumpkins trump my santa for sure. You win!
That is so like life at my house. I only don't have pumpkins on my porch still because we never got around to putting them there in the first place.
Yeah, that's pretty bad. I finally threw ours out sometime in Dec.
LOL! I had a pumpkin last UNTIL FEBRUARY before - in FLORIDA! I even decorated it with hearts. It didnt rot. It was so strange?
That pumpkin snot is some nasty stuff man! Did you have all the little wispy fly thingies too? Those guys could survive the holoucaust I think.
what a pretty picture! I wonder what your neighbors thought..lol
Well I just wanted to tell you that I am following you on twitter, palmersf, for your blog updates, revamping organizing and perhaps doing away with the blog list but lets tweet!
hahaha! That looked like my front porch until the deer ate them all about a couple weeks ago! I guess they were desperate!
