Time to Play Thursday: Top 5 Games

We've been fighting off colds all week long, and of course, it's been raining and icky out the last few days. So, we've been playing board games. A lot of board games.

Here's our faves:
1. Hang in There
2. CandyLand
3. Chutes & Ladders
4. Shrek 2
5. Who Am I?(Always results in giggles, so much so I can't get a good photo)

What are your favorite games to play?

We love us some games :) There is a thrift store close by my home that the girls and I go to a lot and if they are good while mama shops I reward them with a book, puzzle, or game (whatever the store has). We have got some fabulous games for $.50. Our favorite at the moment is Cranium's Cariboo - they love hunting for the balls :)
I added you to my blogroll so I can be sure to return. Enjoy your weekend!

I love that you got pictures of him playing them! My boyfriend and I play Monopoly, Life, and Scattergories, although if there are other people around, I really like Pictionary. Growing up I played a lot of Sorry and Mouse Trap. :-)

I never had Chutes and Ladders and always wanted to play it at my cousins house. My favorite game growing up was called Trumpet. It came out and won several gaming awards and then disappeared. I would love to find one now for my nieces, but can't. I also loved Life, CandyLand, Pictionary and Hands Down

I love the expression on the Shrek picture. It sounds like you guys have a lot of variety. I guess you never really get bored.

Those are classics. Good choices.

What a little cutie you have there!

We love Cariboo. It's great. And Operation's fun, too. Monopoly junior is popular, too. Scrabble junior is fun.
