The Love Tree

We found this tree when we were out for a hike. There are hundreds of initials carved into. It was mysterious and fascinating and romantic.
It made me think back to days when we were young and in love and spontaneous.
Sometimes I miss that.

I couldn't agree more. Nothing is spontaneous with kids, especially two of them.

I know how you feel. It's hard once you're a parent...

That is so awesome. We found similar trees when we visited Smith Fort Plantation. Last year. Who knows how old they are. I wish they could tell stories.

That is pretty cool. I wonder if people still carve their initials in trees like that. I don't think I ever did.

I can't miss what I never had but spontaneity sure does sound wonderful! Maybe it comes back after the kids grow up and move out? LOL
